Introduction

Hello Folks!

 

I am excited to begin my 21st year of teaching, and my 7th year as a part of the Amundsen community! I am an experienced member of the Special Education Department. I hold a B.A in Secondary Education/Social Science, as well as a MEd in Special Education.

 

This school year, I will be providing direct supports to 11th grade students in Civics. I am looking forward to co-teaching, collaborating and working as a team with Mr. Learn and Ms. O'Dowd again. I will provide after school supports for US History and Civics on Tuesdays (tentatively) in Room 224, or by appointment.

 

In addition to my professional teaching responsibilities, I am the associate delegate for the Chicago Teacher's Union representing Amundsen, along side Ms. Mayra Bravo.
