Lorelei MacBeth
Lorelei MacBeth graduated from UW-Madison in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science in Art. After a few creative and adventurous years 'out west', she returned to the Midwest to attend Columbia College Chicago. There she received her Masters in Teaching and K-12 visual arts teacher certification. She has been with CPS since 2001 and a member of the Amundsen crew since 2015.
"I am so proud of my Viking Artists and absolutely love watching our students grow in the visual arts program. Starting sophomore year with MYP and culminating with their final Exhibitions spring of senior year, our student explore all angles of the 'art world'. Art 1 students explore many media and techniques, finding calm and confidence in the art room.
