Mr. Rzodkiewicz

I am exited to teach my seventh year at Amundsen High School and my 20th year in CPS. As a Chicago native that grew up not far from the school in Albany Park, I understand and value experiencing such a diverse neighborhood and attending such a diverse school. I am a product of CPS that graduated from Lane Tech and went on to earn a teaching degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.  I spent my first seven years teaching at Roberto Clemente Community Academy and the following six years teaching at Sarah E. Goode STEM Academy.

My educational philosophy is to empower students by creating a classroom culture in which students' voices are heard and valued. Students will use critical thinking skills everyday and make real world connections to the curriculum and strive to become global citizens. Students will move towards college readiness by improving literacy skills as evidenced by attaining mastery of Common Core Standards.
