About Ms. Poulos

Greetings! 

 

This 2024-25 school year will mark my sixth year teaching English Language Arts at Amundsen High School. This year I am honored to teach IB/H English III and Theory of Knowledge II to our wonderful junior and senior Vikings! When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me coaching water polo in the spring. Born and raised on the pool deck, I cherish my time getting to know our Vikings in the classroom and outside of the classroom. I am also the proud cosponsor of the Amundsen Hellenic Club. I wholeheartedly believe in the power of knowing my students in order to motivate them to succeed and set high expectations for themselves. My teaching style is driven by kindness and empathy.
