My name is Lesley Jorge, but you can call me Madame! This school marks my 24th year in the classroom and my 6th year at AHS. I am a doctoral candidate at the American College of Education, beginning my second year of an Ed. D in Second Language Acquisition.  I hold a Masters of Curriculum and Instruction from Wichita State University, and a Bachelors of Arts from Butler University. I am a proud Butler Alum (Go Bulldogs!), and can get a little crazy around March Madness. I am a lifelong Chicagoan. We live in the Edison Park area of Chicago, with my husband and children.

 

Teaching French is my passion and my calling. I have visited many places in the francophone world including France, Canada, Senegal, and Morocco. I am always looking for opportunities to travel and explore the world even more. Aside from traveling, I love to read, garden, practice yoga, and see live music.
