About me

Hello! My name is Mike Westerkamp. I teach Law and US History. I also run the school chess club and the championship winning E-Sports club. 

 

I was born and raised on the south side of Chicago in Evergreen Park and the Beverly neighborhood. I attended St. Xavier University with a degree in criminal justice. Before becoming a teacher I spent 7+ years as a private investigator/paralegal. I received my masters of Education from DePaul University, and began my career as a teacher in 2019.
