Please join the Friends of Amundsen on Tuesday, October 22nd, from 6 to 7pm for this online presentation for parents of 9th, 10th, and 11th graders about navigating the college testing landscape. Our speaker will be Joy Mollet of BEC Tutoring who will discuss several aspects of college testing including a comparison of the ACT and SAT, the testing timeline, and how to support students through the testing process. Attention 8th grade families! Amundsen's annual Open House will be held on Saturday November 9th from 10am to 1pm. You do not need to register for this event. We are thrilled to share that the 2024 Back to School Boost raised more than $46,000, bringing 90 new Chromebooks and three new Chromebook charging carts into Amundsen classrooms for daily student use. Thank you to everyone who donated to this important campaign. Your generosity has a direct impact on student learning, and we are so appreciative.
