The AHS Counseling Department will be hosting FAFSA workshops on December 8th at 5pm. Staff from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission will be on hand to support families in the financial aid application process as well. Please join us!

Principal Pavichevich and the Amundsen leadership team will speak with parents via Zoom on Wednesday, December 8th, 2021 at 6pm to review safety and security protocols and to address parent concerns over recent events. Attention 8th grade families! Please join the Amundsen IB Team for a VIRTUAL IB information session this Wednesday evening, December 1st, at 6pm. This one hour session will be held live via Zoom. The second session of the Amundsen Parent Series is Tuesday, November 9, at 6:30pm. Parents, you won’t want to miss this discussion with the Amundsen counseling department on ways to support your student on their high school path and beyond. Registration is required. THANK YOU so much for supporting our AHS Student Event!
Due to our Haunted House being SOLD OUT and the weather not cooperating, we have to make some adjustments for Friday evening's Haunted House event:

-NO tickets will be sold at the door. We are completely SOLD OUT.
-Doors will open at 4:45pm (auditorium door #1) to begin scanning and grouping ticket holders.
-We will begin taking groups into the Haunted House at 5:00pm (a half hour earlier than our anticipated start time).
-We will be closing and locking the doors at 7:30pm sharp! We must ensure the event ends with the last group leaving by 8:00pm, not starting. Any paying customers that can not enter prior to 7:30pm or are turned away at the door can be refunded if necessary.

The Amundsen Lady Vikings did well playing in their first 18 hole event at the Golf Regionals. Congratulations to Reina for advancing to Sectionals next week. Go Vikings!
