If you need assistance finding your classes this week, the Amundsen Viking Navigators can help. Log into your CPS account, go to meet.google.com and enter the nickname for your grade as listed on the flyer above. Someone from Amundsen will be there to help. Navigators start at 7:30am and are available throughout the school day until 2:30pm. We will get you to class!

Welcome back Vikings! Classes at Amundsen begin with Advisory on Tuesday September 8th at 7:45 AM via remote learning.  Click on the link above to access a clickable version of the document above that will help you to access the online classes.  We are looking forward to seeing our Vikings!

Please read the linked newsletter with important information for parents as we head back to school this fall.

Attention Amundsen Families: Please review the attached letter from CPS regarding how to communicate your learning preferences for your students in 9th and 10th grade. Parents should be receiving an email and/or a text as well. If you do not receive this important message, please contact the school before August 7th so that we can assist you in communicating your choice. Thank you!

Please see the attached information regarding a special driver education permit pick up date that will be happening at Amundsen Tuesday July 28th from 9am to 1pm outside the Driver Ed trailer.

If your student is interested in participating in summer athletic activities, please make sure to have the corresponding paperwork completed and turned in, Thursday and Friday, July 16th and 17th. Please bring completed paperwork to Amundsen's back parking lot (access from Foster Ave) and deliver documents to Mr. Jackson under the Amundsen tent. If documents are completed after these dates, please coordinate with Mr. Jackson a meeting time to deliver paperwork by emailing him at: [email protected].

Because we are not able to have an in-person Freshman Connection program for our new Vikings this year, AHS is hosting an online program to welcome the class of 2024 to Amundsen and help them to get acquainted with our school. We hope to see you all there. Click on the link for details!

Summer is a great time for students to work on their post-secondary plans and Amundsen students who are looking for support this summer have options! See the attached flyer for details about summer hours from the counseling department and our post-secondary partners.
